Congressman Mike Bost Visits Jasper County

Newton, Illinois – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) visited Jasper County to participate in a productive meeting with County Officials. The meeting covered a lot of ground on issues impacting residents and the local economy.
Representative Bost represents 34 counties in Southern Illinois including Jasper County that are a part of Illinois’ 12 Congressional District. Representative Bost was first sworn into office on January 6, 2015, and began serving the redrawn 12th Congressional District in 2022. Representative Bost serves on three key committees: Veteran’s Affairs, Transportation & Infrastructure, and Agriculture. On the Veteran’s Affairs Committee he serves as Chairman.
